Hello, and welcome! This is a space for things I love, ideas I’m contemplating, a reflection on life and what I’m experiencing.
I am a freelance writer + editor in St. Paul. I have the joy of being an Associate Editor with thirty two magazine, a contributing writer for Red Stamp and Tastemaker, running the blog for White Peacock Styled Events, covering city council meetings for Press Publications and writing the occasional magazine feature. You can see a collection of my published work over on my portfolio website.
I am an old soul, and spend my happiest days playing cribbage, collecting tea cups, watching Audrey Hepburn movies and reading aloud from classic novels. (If I were not a writer, being an audio book narrator would be my greatest dream.) However, I also love a good hike through the mountains (especially in Oregon), exploring big cities (New York being my favorite), drinking strong black coffee, the quiet comfort of a dog sleeping next to you, speaking in any number of ridiculous accents and baking apple pie from scratch. Oh, and I never say no to a good Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan match-up by the late, the great Nora Ephron.
